Vecuronium
Vecuronium is a neuromuscular blocking agent. Vecuronium works by blocking nerve transmission in the muscle nerves, thus making the muscles relaxed and paralyzed. Vecuronium is given before anesthesia to prepare themselves before the operation.
Indications:
To relax muscles during surgery / surgical and mechanical motion relief tool.
Dosage:
Initial dose: 20-100 mcg / kg intravenously (intra venous)
Increase dose: 20-30 mcg / kg intravenously (intra venous)
Side Effects:
Tachycardia, increased blood pressure (BP) and cardiac output, edema, skin redness, rash, excessive salivation, muscle is very weak, bronchospasma, hypersensitivity reactions.
Special Instructions:
Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver damage.
